Students have been dropping by and adding a few pieces to the collaborative puzzles in the library for over a month. Six puzzles have already been completed and 2 new Holiday themed puzzles are on the go. They must be completed before Christmas break so stop by and help complete them!!

Anthology Writers are Typing Furiously 1 December 2009

There is still time to get a story submitted to the 2010 JHS Writers Anthology and writers are typing like crazy as we speak (really, they are – it’s a Tuesday word war!).

Some reminders for you as you near the finish line…
Short stories should be 2,000 to 4,000 words for the Anthology.
I need all rough drafts by 23rd December (last day before Xmas).
Print 1.5 or 2.0 spacing.

Any questions ask Mr. Thomarie.

Think you’re good at Halo 3? Prove it!

On the 29th & 30th October there will be a Halo 3 competition held in the Library. Anyone can enter this single player double-elimination tournament (that means you can lose twice before you are eliminated).
See Mr. Thomarie if you have questions and to sign-up (32 players maximum, prizes for 1st & 2nd place).
